Roll of Film
Process chemistry (capacities, etc) is often expressed in terms of a "roll of film". This mythical roll is 80 sq.in.
The following conversions apply:
- One roll of 120 film is one "roll"
- One roll of 220 film is two "rolls"
- One roll of 135/36 is one "roll"
- One roll of 135/24 is 2/3 of a "roll"
- One roll of 135/12 is 1/3 of a "roll"
- One 4x5" sheet is one quarter of a "roll"
- One 5x7" sheet is nearly half a "roll"
- One 8x10" sheet is one "roll"
